Mission Statement

The mission of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow is to provide world-class Intensive Care for the children of Scotland and beyond. We will do this in a patient centred manner, putting the child first and always, while working in partnership with families, carers and other agencies. The expertise of our team of staff is our most valued resource, and we will always together work in the spirit of respect and collaboration to achieve what is in the best interest of our patients.
