Globally, Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine is a small speciality and our team collaborates with and learns from colleagues across the world through international conferences and collaborative research.

The PICU team are involved in a wide range of activities from local audit and Quality Improvement projects, through national audits like PICANet to large multicentre international research studies.

In 2016, Glasgow PICU was the proud host of not one but TWO major international conferences: IPSSW 2016 - the 8th International Paediatric Simulation Symposia and Workshops and Euro ELSO 2016
